The Trumbull Historical Society was founded to bring together people interested in Trumbull's history. The Society is dedicated to the learning, preserving and informing of everything relative to the history of the community. New members are always welcome. Our regular meetings are usually held at the Society headquarters on the third Tuesday of September, November, January and March at 7:30 p.m.
The Museum and Research Library are open Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and by appointment. Our Gift Corner offers a unique selection of books prints and other items relating to Trumbull's history and is open during regular museum hours. Membership dues help the Society fulfill its mission and provide exciting benefits.Membership benefits include:

- Priority use of our library and research facilities.
- A year's subscription to our newsletter, The Gristmill, containing articles on Trumbull's history, advance notice of changing exhibits at the Society museum, general meeting lectures, and other society activities.
